Hello I'm Matthew, a tutor for A-Level Maths and Physics. I am currently studying for my PhD in Mathematics, and so am very familiar with the challenges of learning the subject. My undergraduate degree was in Maths and Physics, and my research is at the interface of the two, so I am very confident in tutoring both subjects.

As your tutor, my job will be to guide you through the content and help you to develop your problem-solving skills. I will do my best to come at the subject from a slightly different angle than what you might have seen in class, while of course keeping the material relevant to the exams you will be taking. Of course, I hold that the most important element to learning is personal effort and commitment. I should also stress that a key part of the tutor-tutee relationship, is for you to tell me what you think will work best for you.
